LDV Launches Scrappage Scheme

LDV Launches Scrappage Scheme

In keeping with the company’s commitment to greener motoring, LDV has introduced a new scrappage scheme that offers drivers up to £8,500 towards a new V80 van or Chassis range if traded in before the end of January 2018.

Drivers can trade-in their older, higher-emission vehicle at any LDV dealership throughout the UK, for money off one of the brand’s most popular models, the V80.

To qualify for the deal, the trade in vehicle must have a Euro 4 emissions standard or older and have been registered before the 1st of January 2011. The new scrappage scheme is available until the 31st of January 2018 and provides van owners with an opportunity to upgrade their existing vehicle while making a considerable saving on the standard retail price.

Mark Barret, General Manager for LDV UK & Ireland said: ‘At LDV we are committed to lowering emissions and now is the perfect time for motorists to enjoy the benefits of switching to a more efficient vehicle like the V80. By giving drivers of older vans a significant incentive to scrap or trade in, regardless of model, this new scheme will see safer and higher-spec vehicles on our roads’.

Relaunched in the UK and Ireland in 2016, the LDV V80 is currently available in four models; Short Wheel Base, Low Roof (SLR); Long Wheel Base, Medium Roof (MMR) and Long Wheel Base, High Roof (LHR) and Chassis Cab (CC), with a GVW (Gross Vehicle Weight) of 3,200KG or 3,500KG.

Owning an LDV gives you peace of mind, as all vehicles are included in LDV’s impressive 555 finance offer; five –year warranty package, five year’s roadside assistance and a five-year finance package.

LDV is manufactured by SAIC, the largest automotive company in China and distributed by the Harris Group.
