AFI invests £2m in Niftylift hybrids

The AFI group of companies has started to take delivery of over 50 Self-Propelled Hybrid Boom Lifts from Niftylift to increase the availability of the popular machines in their hire fleet.

Last month AFI announced a major investment in electric and hybrid equipment for their powered access fleet with leading manufacturers to meet extra demand from customers wanting to hire electric scissor lifts and hybrid cherry pickers.

Self-Propelled Hybrid Boom Lifts for hire will include:

  • HR28 4×4 | 28m
  • HR17 4×4 | 17.2m
  • HR21 4×4 | 20.8m
  • HR12N | 12.2m

AFI Customers can choose from a range of MEWPs which are ideal for working in factories, warehouses, anywhere that space is restricted and places that require zero-emissions (such as indoor use, or for quiet, clean operation).

Nick Higgins, Chief Operating Officer, AFI said: “This latest Niftylift investment will enable us to expand the capability of the entire MEWP hire fleet and offer a diverse and efficient range to meet demand, as more customers strive to meet sustainability objectives throughout supply chains. The hybrid cherry pickers are extremely popular with our customers. The low emissions make them ideal for use on restricted sites, in low emission zones, specialist applications and indoor work and will increase service levels and flexibility to our customers across the entire UK.”
