New electric vehicles for BPH Attachments fleet

Hydraulic attachment specialist BPH Attachments has purchased two new electric vans as part of its long-term mission to reduce the company’s carbon footprint.

With reports continuing to highlight the emissions produced by the construction and demolition sector, BPH Attachments’ Renault Kangoo vans are the first of many that the family-run nationwide supplier and distributor plans to purchase to off-set where it can.

Combined, the two new vehicles are currently set to save just under 3,000 litres of diesel fuel per year. Charging points have been installed for these vehicles at the BPH head office in West Sussex which are also available to use free of charge to any electronic vehicle drivers employed in the industry.

Matthew Bastable, Sales Director at BPH Attachments, said: “We’re delighted to see BPH’s first-ever electric vans join our fleet. As a company we want to limit our impact on climate change as much as possible and this move is the first of many environmental initiatives we will roll out over the coming years to reduce our carbon footprint as much as possible.”
