Ranger Plant Hire take on new Kubota fleet

Leading independent plant hirer Ranger Plant Hire, based in Gerrards Cross adjacent to the M25 and M40 motorways, has taken delivery of 15 Kubota U17-3 alpha 1,700 kg operating weight mini-excavators each supplied with Socomec DMS95 hydraulic breakers, and Meredith and Eyre MEP 2784, 2,700 kg payload trailers.

The new Kubota’s meet all the latest safety and emissions standards. Additionally, the new fleet is fitted with green seat-belt safety indicator lights.

The order was taken and fulfilled by Tring based Boss Plant Sales Ltd the official Kubota construction equipment dealer for London and the home counties. Boss Plant Sales is also an official Manitou, Bomag, Ausa, and Boss Cabins dealer.

The order brings Ranger Plant Hire’s Kubota fleet to over 150 mini-excavators. Ranger bought their first Kubota mini in 1994 and have remained loyal to the market leading brand ever since due to the machine’s reliability, operating economy, site acceptance and strong residual values.
This latest batch of Kubota minis, breaker and trailers are specified to fulfil all the working requirements of the buoyant utilities contracting sector.

Ranger Plant Hire Director Mark Philpin (shown in the image with his son Harry) commented at the hand-over “We’ve run Kubota minis for over 25 years and they’ve never let us down. The machines are economic, reliable, and easy and safe to operate. The support and service from Boss Plant Sales is also a deciding factor.
