Bauma 2019: 28 French companies constructing the future

28 French companies from the construction and mining industries will exhibit their technologies and innovations at bauma from 8th -14th April 2019, with the support of Business France, the national agency supporting the international development of the French economy.

French know-how, recognised the world over
Benefitting from an active R&D scene, high performance and safety standards as well as a solid global reputation for engineering and architecture, the quality of French-produced projects is recognised both nationally (for instance, the Grand Paris Project) and internationally.

Encompassing 7,355 businesses and employing 235,300 people, France’s public works sector is growing. It achieved €38.6 billion in revenue in France and €30 billion internationally in 2017, up by 7.9% compared to 2016.

This hike is largely thanks to the Oceanian (+41.7%), European (+15.9%) and Asian (+3.6%) markets. More than half of international operations were carried out in Europe.

The French Pavilion at Bauma will showcase companies representing the wealth and variety of the industry across the Channel. The latest innovations will be on display: construction material and services, including equipment for working concrete and construction site equipment, lighting balloons, depth control systems, hydraulic cylinders, scaffolding, and on-site sheds. The latest construction machinery and vehicles will also be presented at the show, as will air conditioning and heating solutions, safety and driving assistance systems for construction machinery or assistance or load-bearing exoskeletons.
