SitePlanner Improves Service Resilience and Availability

SeaRoc Group, providers of the SitePlanner contractor management system, have taken steps to significantly improve the software’s reliability and security with the migration to major hosting provider UKFast utilising multiple ISO27001 – certified data centres.

As a result of continued global growth, SeaRoc has committed to upgrade the infrastructure of their software applications to ensure continued high level performance for its network of market leading clients. The new servers are based in redundant locations, linked by a high speed network connection ensuring continuous high quality performance.

SitePlanner is an integrated software solution that manages inductions, personnel certification and Risk Assessments/Method Statements (RAMS) on large scale, complex projects.

“Our customers rely on SitePlanner around the clock.” comments Rich Tamblyn, Technical Architect for SitePlanner. This Data Centre move means we can ensure our applications are available when they need them, that their data is secure and, importantly, backed up in multiple locations. We took this opportunity to improve our server infrastructure to offer instant service improvements and all without passing the cost on to our customers.”

Additional benefits of the transition to UKFast include improved security with new generation Web Application Firewalls and DDoSX protection and new state-of-the-art servers that can support SitePlanner’s growing customer base.

UKFast is also 100% carbon neutral in accordance with SeaRoc Group’s core value of protecting the environment.
