Wilson Access increase Midlands coverage from purpose-built depot in Birmingham

Wilson AccessOne of the UK’s leading powered access specialist for truck and track mounted platforms, Wilson Access, has further strengthened its UK coverage from a new purpose-built site in Birmingham.

Wilson Access maintain a modern fleet of powered access machines, truck and track mounted platforms and supply machines from leading manufacturers including Palfinger, CTE, Ruthmann, Teupen, GSR and JLG.

The depot features hire offices, training facilities, a large workshop, a fully floodlit yard and dedicated cleaning area for over 300 machines in the depot’s fleet.

Hire Team
Wilson’s local team in Birmingham is on hand to advise customers on all aspects of powered access machine hire. They support their customers on every step of a hire, from site surveys, placing an order, keeping customers updated on delivery, through to off-hire and collection. With an average fleet age of 4 years, the experienced hire team advise and supply the most suitable machines for a wide range of specialist applications. Wilson Access customers in Birmingham, Coventry, Dudley, Stoke, Salop, Telford, Worcester, Walsall, and Wolverhampton areas are all serviced here.

Engineering Facilities
15,000 sq ft of workshop space is home to the depot engineering team, who carry out pre-delivery inspections (PDIs), services, LOLER inspections, repairs and manufacturer updates on a growing fleet of rental machines.

In recent years parent company AFI has made significant investments in facilities, hire fleet, and people. They have expanded to 30 locations in the UK, and five in the Middle East.
