Selwood, the UK’s leading pumping solutions provider, is adding £1m worth of large submersible assets to its UK rental fleet as part of an ongoing programme of investment.
The additions this year will see 18 giant submersible pumps with motor sizes from 100kw to 250kw and flow capacities of up to 1,300 litres per second become available across Selwood’s UK-wide branch network.
The units can be configured with self-priming capability using Selwood’s unique SelPrime system, and can be vertically or horizontally mounted. This makes them an effective solution for situations where limited space for installation is available.
It comes as Selwood builds upon its reputation for delivering large-scale, complex solutions for a wide range of water industry, construction and municipal operations.
In support of this, Selwood has appointed Dallas Churcher to the new role of Director of Special Projects and Solutions.
Dallas has many years’ experience in the management and delivery of large pump solutions with Selwood.
His role is to provide senior leadership, support and management to Selwood’s UK-based solutions and installation teams, working with other senior managers and directors to ensure a collaborative approach in delivering customer-centric solutions.
Dallas said: “I am pleased to be appointed to this strategic role at an exciting time for Selwood. This significant investment in versatile submersibles in our fleet strengthens our ability to deliver large-scale and challenging solutions, as we continue to pride ourselves on delivering exceptional products and solutions and outstanding service for our customers.”
Selwood, based in Chandler’s Ford, Hampshire, has a UK-wide network of pumping solutions branches and manufactures its own comprehensive range of contractors’ pumps for sale in the UK and around the world.
