Specialist excavation attachments innovator Hill Engineering has restructured its GB sales operations and appointed two new managers who will cover expanded sales territories for the business.
Rick Still (left) and Andy Martin (above) join the County Down-based business with a total of 45 years’ plant experience and will report to John Lines, Hill’s head of global business development.
The first new territory, GB north, will be overseen by regional business manager Andy Martin who brings a total of 15 years’ experience to the company, most recently as BDM for HHH Equipment where he worked across Scotland with brands such as FRD, Dala-Klippen, Vipermetal, Kemroc, Femac, HST and XCentric. He has also previously worked with Epiroc and Finning UK.
Rick Still joins Hill as regional business manager for the second new territory, the GB south region including Wales, and brings 30 years’ experience to the company, most recently as sales team manager with Greenshields JCB. He has also worked with Hyundai and Bobcat.
In their spare time, Andy is a drummer with a local pipe band and an obstacle course racer while Rick is a keen golfer and volunteer for the homeless.
John Lines said of their appointments: “We are delighted to be in such a strong position that we can make these new appointments. Our plans are intended to bring new levels of focus on our existing customers and to also support our drive for growth. I am confident that Andy and Rick will make a huge contribution to our business in the near future.”
Andy said: “I am delighted to be joining the team at Hill at such a challenging but exciting time for the industry as we aid the further evolution of the business in the aftermath of Covid.”
Rick added: “I am pleased to be able to bring over 30 years’ capital sales and sales management experience, both at a strategic and operational level within large, blue-chip UK, European, Asian and US companies, to Hill’s global customer portfolio.”
