Cadman Cranes takes delivery of the first Tadano AC 4.080-1 all terrain crane in the UK
For Matt Waddingham, Managing Director at Cadman, Tadano developed the AC 4.080-1 just at the right time: “We were looking for a compact 4-axle crane to fill a gap in our fleet and the introduction of this new concept was the perfect fit”. The Essex-based crane service provider often works in tight spaces, lifting loads over long distances. With its compact design, its 60-meter-long main boom and stepless outrigger system “Flex Base”, the AC 4.080-1 is an ideal fit for the job and will excel in such conditions.
And Tadano Sales Manager Tim Leech also sees the concept of the AC 4.080-1 confirmed: “This newly developed crane is consistently geared to the needs of our customers. The fact that Cadman has now decided in favor of it makes me very proud – especially as it is the first AC 4.080-1 on the British market,” he says, visibly pleased about the sale to Cadman.
The Tadano AC 4.080-1 also offers another decisive advantage, especially for the UK market: thanks to the 16.5-tonne axle load limit in force there, it can carry its entire counterweight of 17.7 tonnes plus 600 kilograms of payload – making costly additional transport unnecessary.
