UK-based, DLH Lifting Services Ltd is raising its game with the arrival of a highly-specced Liebherr LTM 1230-5.1 DLH’s managing director, Terry Humphreys commented: “The purchase of our LTM 1230-5.1 was an easy decision to make as we were looking to phase out our LTM 1200-5.1.

With an impressive lifting capacity of230 tonnes, the all-terrain crane arrived in DLH’s striking livery. The five-axle crane is equipped with a 75m telescopic boom extended by an 11.5 to 20m double swingaway fly jib that hydraulically offsets by up to 40°. An additional three sevenmetre inserts can be added between the crane’s boom nose and the fly jib for a maximum hoist height of 111m and a maximum radius of 86m. Such qualities make the LTM 1230-5.1 ideal for projects where the boom is fully raised and at large hook heights.
The 230-tonner features VarioBase and VarioBallast, which together offer improved safety and increased lifting performance, especially in restricted areas and when lifting over the rear area of the crane. Moreover, the unit comes delivered with Liebherr’s remote control concept, enabling control of all superstructure functions.
