Spadeoak, the specialist civils division of Aggregate Industries, has been an established name in the asphalt surfacing industry for over 43 years and continues to be recognised as one of the highest quality contractors in the UK. Spadeoak work across the UK on prestigious projects including works for sports stadia, commercial developments entertainment facilities, retail parks, and private residences.
The company recently refreshed its fleet of light tandem compaction rollers taking on 10 new BOMAG BW 120 AD-5 models from Boss Plant, the Tring based official BOMAG compaction dealer for the area.
The new BOMAG’s were soon put to work on projects across the country. As well as working on ‘traditional’ asphalt surfacing projects Spadeoak is widely experienced in installing sports surfaces for a variety of sports. Recent projects include athletics tracks, sports pitches, multi-use games areas, training facilities and tennis courts. In addition, Spadeoak is approved to install hockey pitches by the International Hockey Federation and they’re recognised by Sport England for their high-quality standards.
