Wigan-based Marsden Crane Services, which chose Liebherr for the purchase of its first ever new crane back in 2017, has just added another Liebherr to its growing fleet with yet more cranes on the way for 2020.
The company has just taken delivery of an LTM 1060-3.1 mobile crane. Popular thanks to its compact three-axle chassis and a number of other highly useful features including the 48 m boom length, the LTM 1060-3.1 has excellent manoeuvrability achieved through its six-wheel steering.
Marsden Crane Services’ new LTM 1060-3.1 has been specified with Liebherr’s unique VarioBase system. Particularly effective for lifting operations in locations where space is restricted, this will further enhance the capabilities of the company’s latest fleet member.
Lee Marsden at Marsden Crane Services said: ‘We took our first Liebherr LTM1060-3.1 a couple of years back we have been very impressed by the machine’s capabilities and build quality. It is a great crane and it was an easy decision for us to add another Liebherr to the fleet.”
