There’s a double celebration in the attachments sector this year as a UK-based supplier records two significant milestones. Inmalo are celebrating 20 years as UK dealers for Mantovanibenne MBI as they also head for their 75th anniversary in 2021.
After returning from the war, a veteran of 311 Squadron, Lt. Arnost Polak started the business in 1946. With the war over, the clearing and rebuilding saw a need for new tracked earthmovers and Inmalo initially supplied tracks, later moving into demolition attachments.
The name is now well known in the industry for the supply of hydraulic excavator attachments and dust suppression systems. One of the flagship brands is the MBI attachments range which includes scrap shears, concrete crackers, pulverizers, multi-systems, grapples and riddle buckets, to name a few.

Grapples and shears are popular products from the MBI stable. The SGR Grapple is designed especially for demolition and the movement of heavy materials and has recently been upgraded to reach a superior level of reliability and performance. Changes have focused on major modifications related to hydraulic components, control sensitivity and upgrades to their rugged assembly.
The Eagle II Scrap Shears have proved to be very popular with some of the largest Demolition and Scrap recycling companies throughout the country. With a high power to weight ratio and extensive patented features such as the speed valve and jaw clearance design, MBI Shears are renowned for high productivity levels.
Concrete Crackers and Pulverisers have also been improved with a focus on interchangeable CRP and PP teeth plate designs. Last year the MBI CC Combi Cutter was launched which combines both cracker and shear for demolition of heavy reinforced concrete structures, giving Inmalo one of the largest ranges of attachments available to the UK market.
Inmalo’s new GIDA hydraulic Magnet range has also been very well received for its power, release time and ease of connectivity with different carriers. Montabert provide the reliable, powerful and technically advanced breaker ranges with products to fit 0.7 – 120 ton carriers.
Combine this with the latest deal with Steelwrist to supply the SQ range of Fully Automatic Quick Couplers and Inmalo have an impressive range of powerful and technically advanced attachments and couplers.
