Andaul Ltd recently took delivery of a BOMAG BF 300P-2 compact paver adding to their growing fleet.
Andaul operate across the North West of England and throughout the UK serving both large national companies and smaller contractors. The BOMAG BF 300P-2, which weighs in at just 9,000kg, is powered by an economic and reliable 55kW Kubota engine. Fuel consumption, noise and engine emissions are reduced due to the integrated BOMAG Ecomode system which automatically matches engine power to demand, reducing consumption by up to 25%.
The BOMAG paver has just spent two days paving a road in a small housing complex in Farndon, Chester. The compact paver was ideal for the job with good manoeuvrability and excellent all-round visibility thanks to BOMAG’s unique Sideview system. Locally supplied hot rolled asphalt (HRA) was used on the job with chippings spread and rolled after the 40mm thick layer of HRA was laid and rolled by a BOMAG roller.
Andaul Limited was established in 2006 when work colleagues Andrew Smith and Paul Doran, former long-term employees of Amey Fleet Services decided to venture into business. Andaul has used BOMAG rollers for many years but the 300P2 was the first BOMAG paver bought by Andy and Paul.
Paul comments, “BOMAG rollers are universally accepted as the best in the business. They can tackle any job and they stand up to years of use and so we decided to look at their pavers. I was impressed with the design of the BF 300P2 when I saw it as it has a lot of nice detail features. The BF300P-2 paver is ideal for small to medium paving jobs in our patch as its compact and manoeuvrable. The machine and Kubota engine are also very economical in operation.”
