Central Crane Hire (Hull) Ltd is a specialist crane hire and contract lifting company that operates throughout Yorkshire and the UK. The family-run business took delivery of an LTM 1200-5.1 mobile crane late in 2018 and the new machine is now in service.
This five-axle, 200 tonne crane is equipped with a 72 m main boom as standard and has been supplied to Central Crane Hire with the 12.2 m – 22 m long double fly jib including integrated assembly jib and a set of sheaves. Overall, the machine has a maximum height under hook of approximately 89 m.
Central Crane Hire has also opted to include Liebherr’s unique VarioBase® system on its new LTM 1200-5.1: the Variable Supporting Base will ensure higher lifting capacities and a larger working range. The new crane has also been supplied with full remote control and a refinery kit with the latter including an engine shutdown system.
