One of the UK’s leading construction firms is supporting its continued growth by investing in a range of Kubota machines, purchased from BTE Plant Sales.
The purchase of an additional seventy five 3, 5 and 8-tonne machines means that 85% of the M&J Evans Construction’s current 143-strong mini and midi excavator fleet now comprises Kubota machines. The large-scale investment in machinery follows a period of significant expansion for the business, which saw the acquisition of Flynn Construction in August 2021, expanding the firm’s presence in the Southwest, alongside the opening of a new offices in Warrington and Yorkshire.
With significant residential contracts with Barratt Homes and Taylor Wimpey, M&J Evans Construction will put its new Kubotas to use in a range of major developments nationwide. Philip McEvilly, Plant & Transport Manager at M&J Evans Construction, explains: “With a rapidly growing business and work with some of the country’s leading housebuilders, we need our machinery to be efficient and reliable.
