Based in Waterlooville near Portsmouth, Parchow Groundworks Ltd has become the latest business to invest in LiuGong excavators.
Parchow Groundworks Ltd were established in 2009 by highly experienced Managing Directors, Andy Howe and Dave Cleeve, who had previously worked together in the industry for many years. More recently they have been joined by Kieran Shalloe who also takes up a Directorship role.
The family-based business undertakes building and civil engineering work across a wide range of sectors, including schools, hospitals and commercial properties, and an increasingly large focus on house building groundworks for a number of blue-chip clients including Barratt Homes, Persimmon Homes, Crayfern Homes and local builder PMC.
The company employs around 120 staff and with continued expansion they have seen annual turnover double every year for the past 4 years to around £14m.
The company were previously running a fleet of 9 excavators from a competitive brand which will all be traded in for this significant new order of 20 LiuGong machines.
The first batch of machines have been delivered and consists of:
- 5 x 909ECR
- 1 x 922E
- 2 x 915E
A second batch consisting of 2 more 15-tonne class excavators and 10 smaller mini excavators will be delivered in due course.
