The first Tadano ATF-1004.1 all terrain crane in England was handed over to crane service provider Sangwin Plant Hire.
“Tadano cranes have long been an indispensable part of our vehicle fleet as a result of their high quality and reliability. In fact, around two thirds of our cranes come from this manufacturer, and it’s not just the products that have earned our confidence, but the services as well,” explains Managing Director Nick Sangwin, who welcomed the crane in person together with Operations Director Andrew Fenton in Hull. The crane was handed over by Tadano Sales Manager Paul Goodall. And it is important to note, within this context, that Tadano is a regular guest in Sangwin. The company has invested in five Tadano cranes in the last two years alone – one ATF 60G-3, one ATF 70G-4, two ATF 100G-4, and now an ATF-100-4.1.
Sangwin ordered the new ATF-100-4.1 with an 18-meter boom extension, full 30.4t of counterweight, 18.3 tonnes of this roadworthy within STGO regulations, and an AMOT engine shutdown system. Its two-engine design has huge benefits for a wide variety of industries and in particular use in the Chemical, oil and gas terminals. It is also worth mentioning that it did not take long for the new Tadano ATF-100-4.1 to be given its first job: Following the handover, inductions and training, it was sent on its way to a six-week assignment in Hull.
