Sibbald Training is recognised as one of the top training companies in Scotland, providing a vast array of specialised training and assessment solutions to a wide range of industry sectors such as construction, civil engineering, utilities, local authorities, emergency services, warehousing and logistics.
When it came time to add a new 14t excavator to their fleet of construction equipment training machines, Sibbald Training reviewed what was available on the market and decided on a new SANY SY135C.
Sibbald Training purchased the machine through SANY’s new direct sales and support route in Scotland and the excavator was supplied with a Miller PowerLatch quick coupler.
“We want to ensure our customers receive industry leading training and in order to do so we need to invest in new equipment which will be reliable and robust” commented John Sibbald, Managing Director, Sibbald Training. “There’s an increasing population of SANY excavators in the Scottish market and after gathering positive feedback from other users, we felt it was the right choice for our business” continued John.
When it came to purchasing attachments for the machine, John was keen to specify Miller. He commented, “It’s really important to have the right attachments for our machines, so we can provide the best possible experience for our future operators. Miller’s products are well-known for being at the forefront of safety standards and efficiency and that along with SANY makes a powerful combination.”
The Miller PowerLatch coupler is a proven design manufactured by the world’s leading authority on pin grabber quick coupler technology. The patented and exclusive automatic blocking system (ABS) prevents the accidental release of an attachment. Cast from high tensile steel, it’s light and exceptionally strong, with removed surplus weight from non-load bearing areas and a reduced top section of the coupler for a more compact, aesthetic product.
“I’d like to thank John and David Sibbald for their business and believe the SANY SY135C will be a great addition to the fleet” said Stewart Smith, Scotland Sales Manager, SANY UK & Ireland. “We are excited about having future operators learn on a SANY which will help us to show the marketplace how well built and powerful our excavators are” continued Stewart.
