Aggregate Industries’ esteemed contracting division, one of the UK’s leading road surfacing contractors, is all geared up to make a big impression at this year’s Highways UK event where it will be showcasing its full proposition – ‘at the heart of construction.’
The annual exhibition, which is taking place this year on 8th-9th November at Birmingham’s NEC, brings together all those responsible for the planning, designing, building, maintaining, operating and future-proofing of the UK’s road network. In 2016, the event attracted over 2,000 visitors, with this year looking to be even bigger.
Located at stand D18, Aggregate Industries’ Contracting division will have an expert team out in full force during the two days, promoting its renowned ‘one stop approach’ designed to help drive efficiencies and cost-reductions, improve safety and increase speed of delivery for customers.
Paddy Murphy, Managing Director of Contracting Services at Aggregate Industries, said: “As we all know, these are challenging times for the modern transport sector as we continue to strive to meet vast road improvement targets, within tight deadlines and limited budgets. As such, it’s paramount for contractors and local authorities to work with experts who can apply a full consultative approach to achieve optimum results each and every time.
“With over 80 years of experience in highways maintenance, road surfacing construction and associated civil engineering services, and access to all the leading road surfacing materials generated from our vast national network of quarries, we truly believe we are in best position to help deliver this.”
Paddy adds: “For us, it’s all about making a difference to customers and at Highways UK, whether it’s a huge quantity of product, incredibly tight turnaround or simply complex logistical requirement, we want to show how ‘from quarry to customer’ we’ve got it covered.
“We look forward to meeting as many attendees as possible at the event, where our skilled team will be happy to offer informed advice and give a snapshot of our offering.”
