Undercarriage and wear part specialists, Astrak Group UK Limited, has become an authorised distributor of Eaton Final Drives.
A typical Final Drive of the kind found on an excavator is composed of a reduction gear, hydraulic motor, parking brake and other components and it is responsible in driving the excavator or crane forward or backward and they are widely considered to be one of the most important hydraulic components of many tracked machines.
The Eaton range of Final Drives (sometimes called travel motors) are engineered to provide consistent amounts of power during operation and are available for a wide range of excavators and other tracked equipment from 1 to 50 tonnes.
