Under the themes of Technology, Innovation and Efficiency, Bobcat will present the very latest developments from the company at the Smopyc 2020 Exhibition in Zaragoza in Spain, including new compact track and skid-steer loaders, mini-excavators, telehandlers and attachments. The stand will show solutions for all sectors, from construction, road works, rental and demolition, to material handling and landscaping.
There will be many firsts at Smopyc from Bobcat:
First Showing of New Stage V Compact Loaders at Smopyc
Enhancing Bobcat’s leadership of the compact loader market in Europe, the company will be launching its new Stage V compact track and skid-steer loaders at Smopyc. The new loaders are the first models in the Bobcat compact equipment range in Europe to have the company’s new machine styling scheme, which includes 3D decals for the first time.
Bobcat will also preview the company’s larger R-Series loaders being launched later in 2020, representing a new approach to designing skid-steer and compact track loaders from Bobcat.
The new M-Series and R-Series loaders provide operators with increased performance, enhanced comfort and optimised maintenance requirements to maximise job site efficiency.
E10e Electric Mini-Excavator’s first appearance at Smopyc
Another product being shown for the first time in Spain is the new E10e Electric Mini-Excavator, the industry’s first battery-powered, zero tail swing mini-excavator in the one tonne class. The E10e answers a customer need for a zero emission and low noise tool for indoor work. The design of the battery-powered E10e is based on Bobcat’s conventional E10z mini-excavator, the market leader in the 1 tonne class. The E10e forms part of a comprehensive display that includes the E17z, E27z, E35z, E45 and E57W mini-excavators from Bobcat.
Bobcat Telehandlers: Compactness and Maximum Lifting Capacity
Bobcat will show the company’s TL30.70 telehandler at Smopyc which, with a maximum lifting capacity of 3 tonne and a maximum lift height of almost 7 m, is designed for a wide range of applications. It is notable for its compact size, its productivity and stability – it is ideal for work in narrow spaces and where more manoeuvrability is required.
Bobcat will also show the T40.180SLP telehandler, with a lifting height of almost 18 m and a maximum lift capacity of 4 tonne. The T40.180SLP offers outstanding results in jobs that require high lifting heights. Its compact stabilizers, frame levelling and boom positioning system provide greater productivity in all types of material handling and maintenance applications.
The TL30.70 and T40.180SLP are part of a Bobcat range of 15 telehandler models, covering a total of up to 21 versions, covering maximum lifting capacities between 2.6 and 4.1 tonne, with lifting heights between 6 and 18 m.
All models in the Bobcat telehandler range are covered by a standard three-year or 3000-hour warranty. Like all new Bobcat machines, this is extendable under the company‘s Protection Plus extended warranty plan, offering cover up to 5 years and/or 6000 hours.
Industry-Leading Innovations from Bobcat:
A-SAC: Advanced Selectable Auxiliary Control System
The new R-Series 2-4 tonne mini-excavators from Bobcat make their first appearance at this Smopyc. The R-Series offers the best combination of excellent visibility, high digging forces, outstanding stability and precise controllability in this category. Bobcat will also be previewing the new award-winning A-SAC Advanced Selectable Auxiliary Control system, which will be available later in 2020.
The A-SAC system is a unique solution developed by Bobcat that enables operators to customize control patterns of auxiliary hydraulic circuits on Bobcat excavators, depending on their set-up preferences for using hydraulic attachments. Using the A-SAC system, the operator can easily customize the settings for up to seven different attachments or applications. This leads to higher productivity and saves time and money that would otherwise be lost through having to get used to new working modes or machine customization.
Remote Control System for Bobcat Compact Loaders
Bobcat will also show the company’s new advanced Remote Control System for Bobcat compact loaders for the first time in Spain, the first original ‘Plug&Play’ product of its type as an alternative to add-on developments from third parties. The Remote Control System is one of many new Bobcat attachments on the stand, including the launch of a new Soil & Asphalt Spreader and others such as wheelsaws, planers and graders.
