The Plant & Agricultural National Intelligence Unit (PANIU) show a comparable 23% rise in plant and agricultural thefts in their UK 2018 report. This year alone, CanTrack Global Ltd customer recoveries topped one million pounds in value.
At the time of writing (6 June 2019), the number sits at over £1,200,000. Recovering so much asset value in 2019 saves money for CanTrack customers, their insurers and saves valuable police time. John Mussett, CanTrack Global’s Director of Investigations reports that the current auditable recovery-rate is 94%.

CanTrack recently hosted Essex Police Stolen Vehicle Intelligence Unit as well as the National Vehicle Crime Intelligence Service to discuss plant theft, freight crime and the latest tactics in combatting this ever-increasing theft trend.
