GAP Hire Solutions Opens New Depot in Bridgwater

GAP Hire Solutions is delighted to announce the opening of a new depot in Bridgwater, Somerset.

The 0.6-acre site comprises a fully operational Plant & Tool Hire depot with storage, repair and maintenance facilities. The new location, which opened for business on Monday 23rd October 2017, will provide coverage in the areas between GAP’s Bristol and Exeter depots for small tools, accessories and plant equipment up to and including 3-tonne machines.

GAP’s South West Regional Operations Director Andrew Feltham commented: “GAP is constantly investing in property to expand our UK coverage and keep pace with demand. Being able to supply kit quickly is an essential requirement of our customers. GAP’s new Plant and Tool Hire depot offers our customers in Somerset a broad range of equipment available for same day delivery and collection. From angle grinders, drills and saws to mini excavators, dumpers and telehandlers, we offer a complete hire solution.”

GAP deals directly with market leading supply partners including Hilti, Stihl, Makita, Wacker Neuson, Kubota, Thwaites and Hamm to source the highest quality equipment available in the industry. Founded in 1969, GAP is still family owned and run, adopting a long-term perspective when making decisions. Andrew continued: “We focus on building the local markets we operate in whilst supporting our larger customers nationwide. “The new depot on Showground Road is in a good strategic location in South Bridgwater with excellent access to the M5 and the ongoing construction at Hinkley Point.”
