TJC Sales is reporting an increase of sales of Hidromek machines since exhibiting at Plantworx 2017 in June.
The show resulted in five sales and two long term hire agreements for the UK dealer for the brand. Interested parties who witnessed the performance of the HMK 102B SUPRA, HMK140LC and HMK 220LC Gen Series at TJC Sales’ stand at Plantworx have now become proud owners of the Turkish manufactured machinery. Profusion Environmental, who specialise in the construction of golf courses and sport facilities, were impressed with the HMK 140LC excavator and ended up buying two of the machines.
“What really impressed me about Hidromek was their willingness to accommodate our specification for a
steel wrist attachment on the HMK 140LC, which we require for golf bunker renovations. TJC Sales and Hidromek arranged for my senior operator and myself to try out the machine with this attachment in Sweden where it is commonly used. My senior operator gave the machine a ‘big thumbs up’ hence we have now purchased two of the excavators.”

Enquires about the HMK 102B SUPRA Backhoe Loader have also increased since the show. Customers have been impressed with the performance of the front loader and its durable boom construction. Peter and Andy Wordingham from Wordingham Plant Hire, who are renowned in Norfolk for their range of quality plant equipment, have now acquired two of the machines:
“What first attracted us to the Hidromek was the colour scheme; it caught our eye and got us over to the stand at Plantworx. We could see the build quality was on par if not better than other backhoes on the market. Also, when we noticed that SERVO controls came as standard, this was another major plus as we have many drivers who are excellent 360° drivers but are not as good on the 180° controls. The price was also very competitive and the TJC Sales team very easy to get along with which filled us with confidence.”
Other sales included the acquisition of an HMK 220LC Gen Series by RB Haigh, a major supplier of readymix concrete for both commercial and domestic applications. In addition, two long term hire agreements are now in place for an HMK 220LC and HMK 140LC.
