Hitachi Construction Machinery (Europe) NV (HCME) has created a new podcast especially for operators, owners and enthusiasts of the Hitachi brand.
Known as Onsite, the construction machinery podcast has been produced to be entertaining and informative, as well as provide another communication channel for HCME’s loyal base of followers worldwide.
Onsite takes the listener behind the scenes with the latest Hitachi machines, visits the most interesting job sites, and gives unparalleled access to exclusive content from Europe and Japan. It will also include the views of industry experts, contractors and operators right across the construction and related sectors.
“The seeds were first sown for bringing a dedicated construction machinery podcast to life in the unprecedented early days of the pandemic,” said HCME’s Manager Marketing Ghislaine Jonker.
“Travel restrictions and job site closures prevented us from producing our usual variety of marketing and communication materials. So we wanted to find the best way to satisfy those still looking for Hitachi content and to be right by their side during this challenging period.
“Therefore, we decided that we could package up our considerable amount of interesting construction content as a regular audio podcast. It’s ready now for everyone to stream, download and listen to for free, while they are working, driving, or just relaxing at home.”
The first episodes of Onsite include interviews with Burkhard Janssen, General Manager Product Management & Engineering at HCME about the journey to bring the exciting new Zaxis-7 excavator range to the market. There are also interviews with a host of industry experts from the UK, France, Spain and The Netherlands about why the European market is embracing a shift towards the option of renting construction equipment, especially during the current pandemic.
Future podcast topics will include in-depth looks at remote monitoring, compact equipment, hydraulic systems, Remanufactured components, ‘Hitachi heroes’, machine ‘walkarounds’, interesting stories from job sites across Europe, and much more.
The new HCME podcast can be found online at Onsite or alternatively streamed and downloaded via Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Google Podcasts, and most other popular podcast sites.
