Plantworx will see the official launch of the new KerbGuard kerb protector from Ground-Guards Ltd.
This innovative new product has already been presented with a Plantworx Innovation Award at the recent CEA Conference, and now goes on public display for the first time in the UK.
Damage to kerbs during construction of housing estates is a major issue for the industry, resulting in lost time, extra expense and increased CO² generation. Ground-Guards claim that their KerbGuard provides a solution to all of these problems.
Made from tough impact-absorbing recycled PVC, KerbGuards are fitted as soon as the kerbs and basecoat tarmac are installed. They protect the kerbs from damage by telehandlers, diggers, dumpers and delivery lorries throughout the duration of the site. Their highly visible black and yellow colouring clearly defines road edges, and increases site safety.
Available in two sizes, KG900 for straight runs and KG400 for corners and curves, KerbGuards promise to become a real game-changer for the housebuilding industry.
The new KerbGuards kerb protectors will be on display at PlantWorx, on the Ground-Guards stand, FC9.
