Award Winning Makinex Construction Products bolsters its team as demand for products expands across national hirers

Makinex Construction Products has appointed marketing and business graduate, Faye Curley, as Operations Coordinator to support the business as it expands its UK footprint. Faye has joined the UK team after securing a First Class Honours degree from Sheffield Hallam University in Business and Marketing.

The Operations Coordinator role will see Faye spearhead and establish the company’s customer service with a focus on order processing, invoicing and logistics, as well as streamlining operations to deliver fast and responsive customer relations across the complete product range.

Faye said: “I was delighted to be offered the role at Makinex. It’s a family company and there is a real sense that everyone is in it together from the US to Australia, and now the UK. Based on the success of Makinex in other global territories, we have strong ambitions here and I’m committed to supporting the business in reaching its targets.”

Makinex Construction Products was established in Australia in 2004 focusing on designing robust light construction equipment. Over the past decade its business model has been to take its products throughout the world, including USA and Europe. Since it opened its UK branch in Birmingham, the company has secured several high profile ‘Preferred Suppliers’ listings across national hire accounts, with immediate opportunities on the table for one of the UK’s leading builders’ merchant.

Russell Boswell-Munday said: “Over the last ten months the business has grown from strength to strength and we are excited about the opportunities ahead of us. Seeing is really believing in our product range and being a new UK company, we are hitting the ground running, every day. Faye is a fantastic addition to our team and as a company which has innovation at its core, her insight and fresh business thinking will be essential to keep us ahead of the curve.”

Makinex will be at the Executive Hire Show, a two-day dedicated event for hirers, on 6th and 7th February 2019, where product demonstrations will be taking place on stand I44.
