MANN+HUMMEL Donates 20,000 Euros to UNICEF

The converted tractor from the MANN-FILTER image campaign “For all vehicle lovers” was auctioned off for around 20,000 euros. International filtration expert MANN+HUMMEL is donating all of the proceeds from the online auction to UNICEF.

Jörg Engels, Director Brand Management Automotive Aftermarket at MANN+HUMMEL, presented the donation check at the company headquarters in Ludwigsburg to Mr. Guntram Kunschner, Deputy Director of the UNICEF Working Group in Stuttgart.

“I am delighted that through our donation, children will be given the chance to enjoy a better life,” says Engels.

The one-off vehicle was bought by a distributor of automotive spare parts from Reutlingen, who intends to use the converted tractor for corporate events.

In the context of the MANN-FILTER image campaign “For all vehicle lovers”, the participants were able to vote on which of four commercial vehicles they wanted to have converted.

Automotive professionals Lina Van de Mars and Jo Scholz allowed viewers to look over their shoulders during the conversion work.

The cross-media campaign was conducted in eleven European countries on MANN-FILTER’s social-media and online channels. The online charity auction was held from June 13 to 27.
