With the continued investment within its rental portfolio of trucks designed specifically for the construction and utilities market, MC Rental has enhanced this new development by successfully achieving a range of accreditations that fully demonstrates its commitment to achieving the highest standards in this challenging market place.
MC Rental has now been accredited as part of the ‘Safety Scheme in Partnership’ (SSIP), to satisfy the PAS91 standard, through external verification by CHAS (Construction Health and Safety). This is an accredited nationwide scheme that reassures all customers that MC Rental is financially responsible and fully compliant with health and safety legislation, thereby geared to safeguarding their reputation.
At the same time, MC Rental has also completed two separate two-day audits for Achilles, the global experts in supply chain performance, for the UVDB and Building Construction communities to demonstrate its commitment to the highest possible professional industry standards in all its operations.
“Working with highly respected and recognised organisations, to demonstrate professional standards and industry recognised accreditations, is part of the ongoing investment in our development to support MC Rental’s further diversification of rental fleet activities,” said Dave Hutchins, Sales Director, MC Rental, “We were delighted to be scored at 100% for Quality and Corporate & Social Responsibility in the first on site B2 assessment for UVDB and a very respectful 96% average score for Health & Safety in the Achilles on site and management systems audits.”
Dave continues, “Our customers need to ensure that their suppliers are financially viable, well governed and have the organisational capability to work safely on their behalf. We are continuing to work towards additional professional accreditations to build even further confidence in MC’s valued existing and prospective customer base.”
MC Rental provides nationwide tailor-made transport rental solutions backed by exceptional customer service and 30 years’ experience. Currently, the company operates a diverse fleet of over 3,400 vehicles, covering 4×4’s and LCV vans right through to temperature-controlled rigids, construction vehicles and 44tonne PTO equipped tractor units.
“Our Contract Hire and spot rental operations are committed to delivering the confidence in customers to help us guide them through the complex compliance issues within their stringent respective supply chains,” concluded Dave Hutchins.
