The MHM Group is sending lighting towers across the UK to illuminate festivals and international sporting events.
The MHM Group, a UK wide leading supplier of solar powered diesel free site lighting solutions, is providing lighting to events nationwide this summer.
Having lit up the Mall in London for the Queen’s Jubilee celebrations, MHM has been in partnership with event specialists Illumin8 to brighten up the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham using twelve low emission lighting towers.
This is one of many international events that has set goals to achieve a greener, more sustainable future and by hiring eco lighting, they save nearly three-quarters of Co2 emissions when compared with standard lighting towers.
This ongoing partnership will also see a further forty lights being sent to the Boardmasters Festival, which attracts almost 150,000 people to Newquay each year. Other festivals being lit up by the partnership include Boomtown and Creamfields.
Due to taking on significant projects such as these, MHM has recorded a 20% revenue growth during the first half of 2022 and is on track to succeed with 40% growth by the end of the year.
Brad Ireland, Group Sales Director for MHH, said “We are thrilled to have our products featured at these large-scale events. We aim to help businesses and events companies all over the UK achieve sustainable goals including zero-emission, lower running costs and reduced noise – and we hope that this project will begin a new wave of events taking on greener and more efficient practices.
“We have developed a great relationship with Illumin8, having partnered on so many exciting events recently – and I very much hope to continue contributing to sustainable projects with them in the future.”
Neil Fenwick, Managing Director of Illumin8 said “Many of the companies we work with have made commitments to actively reduce their environmental impacts and Illumin8 will continue to advise businesses on greener alternatives. As ever we have had first class service from MHM in this – they are always keen to help our clients achieve their sustainable goals.”
