New Crushers for Ulrich Attachments

New Crushers for Ulrich Attachments

Ulrich Attachments will be launching its new compact crusher range at this year’s Hillhead Exhibition

Taking place at the Hillhead Quarry Buxton, from the 26 – 28 June, the exhibition will provide the perfect stage for Ulrich to officially unveil its Combo and Micro Crushers, both specifically designed to provide a convenient, cost-effective on-site recycling solution.

These highly versatile models have been created to work productively on confined sites, helping to reduce waste costs and improve sustainability.

With a powerful 22hp diesel engine, the Ulrich Combo machine has an output of six to eight tonnes per hour, whilst its direct drive system ensures increased reliability and reduced maintenance costs. At only 750mm wide and 970kg in weight, it can easily travel through standard doorways and fit into most good-sized vans. Its robust jaw crusher can handle concrete, bricks and rocks, while the internal shredder expertly reduces plasterboard, insulation sheets, plastics and card board.

The Ulrich Micro crusher is smaller, yet just as powerful, as its Combo counterpart and is the first of its kind on the market, having its own hydraulic powerpack system which runs from a highly efficient 18hp engine. Although it does not feature an internal shredder, it is extremely manoeuvrable, being directly mounted on to a simple body that can be moved by a fork lift or crane. It also has the same direct drive system and jaw crusher as the Combo, making it effective, efficient and highly reliable.

“We’re delighted to be showcasing the latest crusher additions to the Ulrich range at Hillhead this year,” says Josh Copeland, Account Manager at Ulrich, “with both models available on our stand for visitors to experience first-hand.

“There’s so much to commend the machines, whether it’s their ability to crush materials, such as concrete, rock, brick or roof tiles, to more manageable and economical sizes, or the fact that as both models feature universal auxiliary attachments, they can instantly and conveniently power a comprehensive range of hydraulic tools on-site.”

Josh goes on to explain that, while at Hillhead, the Ulrich team will also be presenting and demonstrating other attachments from its best-selling range, including the High-Tip Bucket, capable of achieving a dump action of up to 1.7 metres above that of a conventionally mounted standard bucket; General Purpose Buckets suitable for heavy duty and light material applications, from rock and soil to sawdust, woodchips, snow and coke; and the Ulrich Block Handling Fork, which can be manufactured to fit all makes of wheeled loader.

“It’s going to be well-worth a visit to the Ulrich stand at Hillhead,” Josh continues, “as operators from all construction disciplines will be able to see first-hand, not only the individual features of each attachment we supply, but that by including an Ulrich attachment within a fleet artillery, one machine can quickly and effectively achieve the varied capabilities of several.”

Ulrich products will be showcased on various other stands at the show including Bell Equipment, Case Construction, Doosan, JCB, Liebherr and Volvo SMT. Ulrich’s new Access System will also be fitted to a Hitachi ZX890, allowing visitors to the exhibition a chance to experience this new product first hand.
