Snorkel UK, the official distributor for Snorkel and Ruthmann Bluelift in the U.K. is very pleased to announce the expansion of its sales team.
Long-time equipment industry professional, Scott McCall, joined Snorkel UK on 6th April 2020 as its new Business Development Manager, reporting to Andrew Fishburn, Managing Director. Scott also becomes the companies’ first Net Zero Specialist, tasked with introducing U.K. customers to new lithium-ion powered equipment, and helping them to market these zero emission solutions to their customers.
Scott McCall is widely known in the equipment sector having started his career in sales and marketing at Nationwide Platforms in 1997. He then spent time as a U.K. National Sales Manager for Gardener Denver from 2006 to 2008, before moving to Altec where he led their sales expansion into Russia, CIS and Baltic States until 2011. Drawing upon his industry background, Scott has been operating his own businesses during the past ten years, including consulting in sales, marketing and distribution for multiple leading brands, including IronPlanet, Oil&Steel, Socage, and France Elevateur.
Working for Snorkel UK, Scott will have day-to-day responsibility for developing sales in the North West region of the U.K., while also working nationwide with key accounts as they work towards achieveing their Net Zero and sustainability goals with low and zero emission equipment.

Scott officially joined Snorkel UK on Tuesday, 6th April and spent his first few days at Snorkel UK’s headquarters and Snorkel assembly facility in Washington, Tyne & Wear meeting the team and participating in product training.
Of his new role, Scott said, “I am really excited to be joining Snorkel UK. I’m looking forward to getting on the road and meeting many new and existing contacts in the North West, as well as starting to work with the key accounts.
