Snorkel UK was pleased to host the Access Alliance during their recent meeting that was held in Newcastle-upon-Tyne on Wednesday 13th October.
The meeting was held in private in central Newcastle, following a welcome and introduction from Snorkel UK sales representative, Scott Holtby. After the close of the meeting, and lunch, the Snorkel UK sales team delivered a presentation to the group focused on new products and financing solutions offered by Snorkel.
This was followed by a visit to Snorkel’s manufacturing facility in Washington, Tyne & Wear, where the Access Alliance members were given a full facility tour and the opportunity to see and test drive a wide of Snorkel equipment, including the new line of lithium-electric powered models. The facility visit was followed by a dinner hosted by Snorkel UK in central Newcastle.
Andrew Fishburn, Managing Director of Snorkel UK and Vice President of Strategic Accounts – EMEA for Snorkel, said, “We were once again delighted to welcome the Access Alliance to Vigo Centre and host their quarterly meeting. This was particularly special as it was the first time since early 2020 that we have been able to host a group event like this, and there was a real enthusiasm from everyone who participated.”

During the meeting, George Marriott, managing director of Access Plus was appointed chairman of Access Alliance, replacing Michelle Warren of Warren Access who served in the role for the past two years.
Of the event, George Marriott said, “I would like to thank Snorkel UK for hosting Access Alliance. It was really interesting to learn more about Snorkel’s lithium-electric products and take a tour of the manufacturing facility.”
The Access Alliance is a collaboration of some of the UK and Ireland’s strongest independently owned regional powered access sales and rental companies, who offer a consistent level of service and quality of equipment across the UK.
