Trime UK, the specialist in the manufacture and supply of sustainable site lighting towers are proud to announce that their carbon free, X-BATTERY tower light has been shortlisted in the forthcoming Hire Awards of Excellence.
The X-BATTERY is in the ‘Hire Industry Product of the Year’ section and will be vying for the top prize against a six other pieces of equipment, all popular with UK hire firms and their clients.
The Trime X-BATTERY is a fully functioning site lighting tower with all the attributes of an engine powered set with the exception that it runs entirely on battery power. The unit has a 9m 340° vertical mast and operators will capitalise on instant bright light and substantial energy savings via its’ built-in auto start/stop light sensor. Safety is heightened by the AMOSS safety system; which automatically lowers the mast if the lighting set is moved whilst the mast is still erected. Unlike many lighting towers available to hire industry, both of these systems are fitted as standard on the X-BATTERY.
All the finalists will learn if their product will be the ultimate winner at a grand dinner set for 13th April at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London’s Mayfair. The prizes will be presented by television’s Anton du Beke, a recent star of BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing.
“The Hire Association Europe always delivers a great event and we are delighted that we are going to be part of the 2019 party,” said Paul Hay, Trime UK’s managing director. “The X-BATTERY has been a great success during the past twelve months, particularly where contractors need emission free, silent and safe lighting. We are looking forward to celebrating with our colleagues from the hire industry in April”, added Paul
