Global provider of construction machines, equipment and services Wacker Neuson has appointed Lincolnshire-based Stirlin Plant as its sales dealer for the central region.
Being part of Wacker Neuson’s national dealership network, Stirlin Plant will provide sales and services for the full range of machines and equipment across Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, parts of Peterborough and all Sheffield postcodes, from its HQ at Sadler Road in Lincoln.
Stirlin Plant will bring new jobs to the company as part of the Wacker Neuson contract, having already appointed sales representative Ady Brodrick to the team earlier this month.
Lee Hodgkins at Stirlin Plant will lead the Wacker Neuson contract, he said: “Becoming part of Wacker Neuson’s dealer network is a real milestone for us and we look forward to our ongoing partnership. The brand is known across the globe for its breadth of product range and quality customer service and we are proud to now be part of this impressive organisation.
“This contract complements our existing plant sales business and enables further development within the Stirlin group. Welcoming plant sales specialist Ady to the team is the first of a number of new appointments that we will be making, and we are looking forward to working with such an iconic brand to provide a quality service for new and existing clients across the central region.”
Stirlin Plant is a division of property development and construction company Stirlin Developments Ltd. The business has recently expanded its site into a 2,500 sq ft warehouse next to its office space at its Sadler Road premises. This space will be used by Stirlin Plant for the management of the Wacker Neuson contract.
Ian Wood, regional manager central at Wacker Neuson, said: “Appointing Stirlin as a full line dealer in the central region is a major leap forward for us and we welcome them to the Wacker Neuson team. Stirlin is an experienced and professional outfit and we are looking forward to the relationship.”
