Central London based Millennium Crane Hire Ltd has taken delivery of a new LTM 1040-2.1 mobile crane from Liebherr, bringing the total number of Liebherr cranes in its fleet to five.
With excellent all-terrain capability and manoeuvrability on even the most confined building sites thanks to both its axles being driven and steerable, the compact two-axle LTM 1040-2.1 will be a useful addition to Millennium Crane Hire’s existing fleet of truck cranes, city cranes and all-terrain cranes. With a maximum load capacity of 40 tonnes, it offers outstanding load carrying performance over the entire operating area and its 35 m long continuously variable four-section telescopic boom can extend to the required length quickly, and even under load, using the proven hydro-mechanical telescoping system.
