Sussex based, BML Plant Hire have invested in a further twelve X-ECO LED lighting towers supplied by Trime UK Limited.
All twelve sets are already working on long-term contracts between 6 months and 2 years duration.
The X-ECO LED has a number of environmental qualities and safety aspects. The set is fitted with the AMOSS safety system, which automatically lowers the mast if the lighting set is moved whilst the mast is still erected. The complete unit features an external emergency stop button, a fully bunded fuel tank, four height adjustable stabilisers and site levels for guidance during deployment. The energy saving LED lamps will work for up to 50000 hours without replacement.
BML Plant Hire’s lighting fleet consists exclusively of Trime lighting sets. The company currently provides the emission-free Trime X-BATTERY unit for work in London’s Low Emission Zone for Non-Road Mobile Machinery (NRMM). They also have a fleet of X-CHAIN sets, which BML offer as an economic solution for use on construction site compounds.
Commenting on this latest investment by BML, Colum Mannix a director of BML said, “We have operated the X-ECO LED lights for many years with total customer acceptance. Therefore it was an easy decision to keep with the Trime brand exclusively. The quality and spread of light produced makes Trime the ideal tower light of choice for our hire customers.”
“Trime’s aftersales support has always been simple and efficient. They continue to give a good service,” added Colum.
BML Plant Hire was incorporated in early 2021 and supplies a wide range of plant, tools and equipment to construction sites, outside events and Covid-19 testing centres in the Sussex area and beyond. The company is based in Bellbanks Road, Hailsham.
Trime UK is headquartered in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire; their manufacturing plant is based near Milan, Italy
