The Snorkel A46JRT articulated boom lift was handed over to joint owner, Mark Pratt, by Snorkel UK Sales Director, Linda Betts at their facility in Norfolk, in East Anglia in July.
Mark Pratt, who jointly owns the business with Mark Allison, said, “We run a fleet of over 250 access platforms, and know what we are looking for in terms of new products.
“We recently evaluated the Snorkel A46JRT and were impressed with the robust design and build of the product, and its ability to stand up to the challenges of the hire industry. We think it will be a solid addition to our fleet.”
Started in 2003, Anglia Access Platforms initially focused on serving the high reach hire market within a 50 mile radius of Norfolk, however their high standards of customer service and wide variety of access platforms means that they are frequently asked to service customers further afield.
They are a member of the Access Link, enabling them to provide nationwide service and access to over 4,400 aerial work platforms from a single point of contact, through the Access Link network.
The Snorkel A46JRT is a 16 metre diesel powered articulated boom lift, that has impressive rough terrain capabilities and a superb working envelope with zero tailswing, and a 1.5m jib boom.
Designed to handle the toughest conditions, the lift is equipped with high grip, foam filled tyres as standard, and can climb gradients up to 45%.
As standard, the Snorkel A46JRT is fitted with the Snorkel Guard secondary guarding system, and the spacious tri-entry platform with 227kg capacity can lift two people plus tools.
Anglia Access Platforms have already taken delivery of the Snorkel A46JRT and have deployed it into their rental fleet. The lift was sold and will be supported by Snorkel UK, the direct sales and service entity for Snorkel lifts in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
