GAP Hire Solutions, the UK’s largest independent hire company, has relocated its St Austell depot to nearby Bodmin.
GAP continuously invests in expanding and improving their depot network to ensure that the local area can be supplied as efficiently as possible. The hire company’s new Bodmin depot is on the site of a former Marconi radio station, sitting on two acres of land overlooking the A30 trunk road, a major road connecting London to Land’s End.
Gavin Smith, Property Manager at GAP, commented:“To ensure that GAP has the most suitable location and resources available, the refurbishment of the Bodmin location has included demolishing redundant buildings, converting an old workshop with new offices attached, and pouring 1.5 acres of concrete creating a first-class depot to service the whole of the south west of Cornwall.”
GAP’s newest relocation took place last week and the new Bodmin depot, which can be found on the land of the old Bodmin Moor Radio Station near Lanivet, is now open for business to serve customers looking for a range of hire equipment.
