Hamilton has announced the launch of a specialist construction training arm in a bid to tackle the industry’s growing skills shortage, and to help prepare the workforce for ‘significant infrastructure investment’ in 2021 and beyond.
Acting as a single service provider to deliver a range of construction skills training, Hamilton Training operates nationwide, and forms part of the long-established Hamilton Plant Hire family business based in Sheffield.
Officially launched in December of last year the accredited provider offers a comprehensive and diverse training and skills curriculum including Plant Operator Courses, Workplace Safety Course & Site Supervisor Safety Training courses amongst others.
The move follows increasing concern in recent years over the growing skills shortage in the construction industry and follows the Government’s recent commitment to deliver £100 billion capital to drive the UK’s recovery and support jobs.
