Protect Your Plant with Zappshelter

Paragon Protection Systems is introducing the Zappshelter system at the Executive Hire Show

Zappshelters comprise of a galvanised steel arch structure and a tough fabric membrane which offers protection from the elements for many years. It’s ideal for storing plant and access equipment, and has limitless uses for anyone requiring significant covered storage or workspace.

Flexible temporary or permanent structures…
Designed and engineer-certified for the world’s harshest environments, Zappshelters can provide flexible temporary or permanent covered areas for many different locations. They are available in a great range of widths, and the work perfectly with standard steel shipping containers and precast concrete walls. Paragon report that the Zappshelters are rapid to install and can be erected using only the most basic of equipment; also, the system usually requires no planning permission to construct, and are easy to dismantle and relocate as needed.

Paragon Protection Systems managing director, Craig Michel said: “As Zappshelters are classed as temporary structures, they can often be installed wherever containers can be situated without the need for planning consent. This, coupled with attractive costs, means that they often outweigh permanent structures, with significant savings.”

Paragon’s customers speak out…
Specialist A-Plant division PSS Hire operates from 14 depots and is the UK’s leading specialist rental supplier for specialist pipeline equipment. The company’s Manchester and Weymouth depots had a problem. Without sufficient covered area, they were forced to store, clean and repair expensive equipment in the yard, which was far from ideal. Craig said: “When senior management approached us for a solution, we were delighted to supply Zappshelters for both depots.”

Head of Operations at PSS, Brent Smith says: “PSS Hire needed to expand storage and workshop areas in our depot network. Several options were considered. However, Zappshelter was chosen because of its value for money and quality of product. The installation was simplistic and required no specialist contractors, which reduced time and cost. The shelters look professional and are a great improvement to the depots.”

Other customers who have bought the Zappshelter system include hire giants Gap Group, Nixon Hire and leading contractor Ovenden Earthmoving to name just a few.
