Weaver Plant invest in Kubota equipment, attachments and latest technology

Young entrepreneur Adam Weaver started his business just 4 years ago with the purchase of a second-hand Kubota mini excavator.

Today Weaver Plant has a fleet of over 60 machines including 12 Kubota minis, and midis, purchased in the last 3 years from Tring based Boss Plant Sales Ltd. Adams total fleet includes excavators up to 14 tonnes, site-dumpers, telehandlers, compaction equipment, and specialist attachments.

Weaver Plant provide operated and self-drive plant hire, and groundworks and landscaping contracting to a wide range of customers in London, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, and Buckinghamshire.

Adam was quick to adopt the use of specialised attachments and GPS systems to enable high productivity, safety, and a high-quality finish to all jobs.

Engcon tilt rotators are used with a variety of attachments on their excavators and Adam is currently testing a Compac tilt hitch which will be available via Boss Plant Sales in the future. Weaver Plant make wide use of Mobas Xsite 3D excavator machine control system for accurate trenching, grading, and finishing.

As far as Kubotas go Adam is a huge fan, commenting Kubotas site acceptance is second to none, operators like the ergonomic cabs, the familiar controls, and the luxuries of the high spec machines we choose. The dash-5 cabs are excellent. We get excellent support and service from Boss Plant Sales and have found the Kubota machines to be safe, secure, reliable, and economic in operation.”
