GAP Hire Solutions is ecstatic to announce the continuance of its youth sports club sponsorship programme for the third year running.
The initiative was introduced in February 2017 and has since seen various youth teams across the UK hugely benefit from GAP’s funding. This year, GAP was contacted by numerous clubs applying for sponsorship. The six lucky teams to receive support from the Group are as follows:
Cleckheaton Sporting Juniors FC – under 8’s football team
Crowborough Athletic FC – under 18’s football team
Drumchapel Amateurs – under 7’s football team
Hastings & Bexhill RFU – under 16’s rugby team
Priestwood Vale FC – under 10’s football team
Thatto Heath Crusaders – under 10’s rugby team
The money GAP has given to the teams will go towards various expenses that arise throughout the season such as pitch hire, training equipment, travel costs and kits which are branded with GAP’s logo in pride of place.
GAP is 100%-owned by the Anderson family and headed by Joint Managing Directors Douglas and Iain Anderson.
Iain commented: “We are thrilled to continue our youth club sponsorship programme.
“Youth sport teams provide a fabulous opportunity for children to learn social skills, build character, boost confidence and put into practice values that will help them in both school and their future careers.”
Douglas added: “Youth clubs inherently teach good sportsmanship, accountability and teamwork – traits I am extremely passionate about.
“We hope that our investment goes a long way to offset the rising costs of sports participation and I am looking forward to seeing how each of the six teams progress this season.”
