Survey provides Fassi loader cranes a strong image boost

When it comes to quality and value for money, Fassi Krane is the rising star in Germany in 2021. These were the two main criteria used by the Interrogare market research institute in an image ranking survey that has been carried out repeatedly in recent years.

The client was the trade journal Verkehrs Rundschau. Purchasing managers and executives in haulage companies as well as in industrial and trading companies with their own commercial vehicle fleets were surveyed. Further criteria for the selection of the brands to be examined were, among others, their market share, the number of registrations in Germany, a nationwide presence as well as the awareness of the brand among the relevant decision-makers. Eleven image factors were queried in the image ranking before the market research institute started the actual survey. For years, the factors price-performance ratio and product quality have alternated when it comes to the highest priority. In third place among the criteria surveyed is customer orientation as another image factor.

“So in the end, it’s always about quality, how good a product is, how much it costs and how much the manufacturer cares about its customers. Under this premise, it should be easy to secure a good image on the market,” says the editor of Verkehrs Rundschau. In the current survey, 112 brands or companies were on the list in twelve categories. The aim was to determine a representative opinion of which brands have the best image. In the truck-mounted crane sector, Fassi Krane received a special prize as the highest climber in terms of image points, putting it right at the top of the truck-mounted crane category. Decision-makers such as owners, managing directors, purchasing managers, dispatchers, fleet and logistics managers were surveyed.

Wolfgang Feldmann, Managing Director of Fassi Germany, is very satisfied: “This is a welcome confirmation of our work in recent years. Quality and innovativeness pay off, as the result of the survey shows.”
