Whyte Cargo Handlers Ltd adds new Liebherr crane to fleet

Specialist lifting, cargo handling, crane and plant hire company Whyte Cargo Handlers Limited operates across a number of Scottish ports including Montrose, Aberdeen, Peterhead, Fraserburgh, Inverness, Invergordon and Rosyth on the Forth from its base in Ferryden, Montrose.

An existing Liebherr customer, Whyte Cargo Handlers’ newest acquisition for its fleet is the Liebherr LTM 1250-5.1 mobile crane, resplendent in the company’s logo and colours. This new general purpose mobile crane will be utilised on a wide range of cargos in the north-east of Scotland, including chain and anchor handling, pipe loading and discharge and offshore supply vessels.

Whyte Cargo Handlers has specified its new crane with the hydraulic high cab option, which is particularly useful for cargo handling operations where increased visibility and safety are paramount. The new LTM 1250-5.1 is also fully equipped for mobile grabbing operations including fertilizers, grain, animal feeds, salt, coal and the many bulk commodities in the supply chain.
